Kings Participate in the NFL Play 60
The New Orleans Saints, in conjunction with the NFL, partnered with Hall of Fame offensive tackle Anthony Muñoz and the Muñoz Agency to host an NFL PLAY 60 Character Camp locally.
The one day, non-contact football camp hosted approximately 400 boys and girls from the New Orleans metro area. Kings coaches and executives served as Character Camp coaches The Crescent City Kings were honored to be invited to such an amazing community event featuring former Saints Michael Lewis and Skyler Green.

The NFL Play 60 Character Camp was evidence that sports can be used to promote positive change in all aspects of life. The drills granted camp goers the opportunity to form teams, work together, problem solve and even featured a three mile dodgeball run(don’t tell the kids though!).
The camp focus was to build character through athletic activity, kids were challenged to be truthful while remaining competitive. The various events were structured with the character goals of the camp at the forefront of the minds of the participants. Coaches were challenged with balancing the athletics with the various character values promoted by the camp.
The Crescent City Kings were honored to be invited to such an amazing community event featuring former Saints Michael Lewis and Skyler Green. The NFL Play 60 Character Camp was the ultimate opportunity to spark change and inspire the youth of our community, a task highly regarded among Kings personnel. Building character through sports should be the focus of all athletic organizations.
