Kings Joseph Shines in Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV – Crescent City Kings defensive end/outside linebacker was not only invited to the AAA Minor League football Hall of Fame All-star game, he turned the stage into his own, by capturing the player of the game award. Joseph flashed extreme edge quickness and power throughout the contest placing significant pressure on the opposing passers. Joseph led the Crescent City Kings in sacks and quarterback pressures during the 2016 season providing the perfect compliment to DE/OLB Shaun Jones. Joseph’s breakout season continued with his dominant All-Star game performance.
Steward Joseph’s arrival on the minor league football scene reached a national level, when Joseph was named the AAA National’s All-Star MVP. Playing alongside fellow Kings players, Keywan Bullock(CB) and John Gustavis(OL), Joseph was exceptionally dominant. He brought consistent pressure and showed tremendous dominance with a truly transcendent performance on the Las Vegas stage. Kings Head Coach, Frederick Washington beamed about Joseph’s commitment, “Steward has worked hard from day one of training camp, his desire has led to on-field improvement and the future is extremely bright, for him.”
Joseph is the latest name in a growing list of athletes, who have represent the Kings and southeast Louisiana in a positive way, against top level competition. Washington and the rest of the Crescent City Kings staff have created a haven for top-notch non-college athletes to shine and Joseph’s success is just the latest tip of the cap aimed in the direction of the still growing organization.
